Welcome
This website is my personal journal—a place where I gather thoughts, experiences, and creations from along the way. It’s not a social outlet for me, but rather a space to document and reflect.
In today’s fast-paced world, social media dominates much of our attention. Communication has become a blur—texts are abbreviated, videos are sped up, and even conversation itself seems to be shrinking. We rush through life, often missing the depth and beauty of a slower, more thoughtful pace.
But some things can’t (and shouldn’t) be rushed. Stand before the Grand Tetons or the Grand Canyon, and you’ll understand. Their breathtaking presence doesn’t demand speed of anything—it simply exists, changing in ways only visible over lifetimes.
This website is more like that. It’s a collection of reflections and life crumbs—meant for those who take the time to look. Few will, and that’s okay. This site is for me, a trail I leave behind. But if you happen upon it and find something meaningful, then welcome.
I’ve always found that being interested is far more fulfilling than being interesting. What you’ll find here are the markers of things that captured my interest, at least for a time.
I hope to keep this going, and I welcome polite, thoughtful comments. Life is too short for rudeness—those who hide behind keyboards to throw stones won’t find an audience here. But most people, when guided by goodwill, are kind, thoughtful, and worth listening to.
And to any of my descendants who may come across this—hello. As you can see, I was here too, navigating life just as you are now. I can’t begin to imagine the world you live in, what feels ordinary to you, or how you see things. But I suspect that, at your core, you’re not so different. Our humanity endures across time, and I hope you recognize the threads that connect us.
Welcome.
Hi, guy… Enjoyed your blog, bio and philosophy. We are kinda like a hand and glove with things in life. Archetectual, pilot, people, business, spread the word, communicate, gimmicks, fools ads, scams and all good things in life. Glad to make connections. Wamaman follows on Twitter and other. Look for revisions on three web sites: wam-global.com, westernamerican.us, stjamescathedral.org.The wam-global.com shows off a DeHavilland Dove 8A that I have interest in and have brought back to life. Good low time airplane!
Thanks again,

Very impressive-pilot, musician, charity work, engineer. There is a lot to see on this website! (and hear too-I love the way a Fender Rhodes sounds and liked hearing the Chic Corea song clip)
It’s great to read smoetinhg that’s both enjoyable and provides pragmatisdc solutions.
Hi Ken- I don’t know how but I think I get a lot of your email on gmail! Could be another Kenneth Risley but you were easily googlable! No worries as I c any see you personal information but I get bank emails, senate conservatives emails, farm equipment emails. Is it you? This sounds like a scam but I’m just someone with the same last name!
For a short while in the mid-1950’s in Minneapolis I dated and became engaged to a man named Ken Risley. Whilst researching an entirely different subject, I happened to find myself here. Are you by any chance related to him? He was a pilot also and we flew together a few times.
